That’s why the interior of the Kubota U48-5 is generously-sized, with an adjustable seat and available air ride seat and sunshade. Plus, there’s more headroom and floor space along with a slim, ergonomically positioned right meter panel. Low Noise* World-class noise reduction technology helps protect the operator’s hearing as well as provides a more comfortable working environment for the operator. Rear engine noise is reduced by a metal partition between the engine and the cab. The floor plate is also thicker to reduce noise from beneath the cab. The U48-5 Cab noise level is 74 dBa at the ear.

LED work lights with turn-off delayThe LED work lights can be programed to turn off 30 seconds to 2 minutes after the engine has stopped. This allows the operator to exit the machine and walk away safely under full illumination.
